Ubercool LG GD900 (Crystal)
After using LG KG800 (Chocolate) for a while, I started to hate LG for its slow Processing especially when it comes to GIF Animation, as it takes years to process every single frame and display them on screen. Few other things that I hated are – terribly slow scrolling inside the web-browser, keypad, slow response, too many ‘Done’/’Settings Changed’ pop-ups and finally, incompatibility with most JAVA Applications/Games. Contrary to this, few other things made me love the phone – touch sensitive keys, stylish outer case and awesome clarity on its 1.3MP camera and its crystal clear display. And here’s yet another coolest phone from the family of LG. Its LG GD900 a.k.a. Crystal for people who need style on a high-end tech phone. The phone has bundled with it, the latest in technology – camera, display, connectivity and other internal features.
Features
The Display is a 16 Million color 480×800 pixel TFT TouchScreen of 3″ with Handwriting Recognition and the keypad too, is Touch Sensitive! So you don’t have to click or punch anything and there won’t be issues with keypad as well. :) The phone has an internal memory of 1.5GB and is further expandable up to 16GB, so you won’t run out of space. The phone has got all the latest technology in Connectivity. It runs on Class 12 GPRS and Class 10 EDGE and here comes the treat – the phone has 3G Internet Connectivity of up to 7.2Mbps. Living in a place where 3G isn’t available? Go for WiFi then. The phone has WiFi (802.11 b/g) Connectivity bundled with it allowing you to be connected 24/7. Supports BlueTooth (A2DP) and USB.
Coming to its Camera, it’s an 8MP (3264×2448 px) autofocus with Flash that supports video recording. The phone also has a secondary camera for video call to be made over 3G. The phone also has an Audio (MP3,WMA,AAC formats) and a Video (DivX,XviD,MPEG4 formats) Player supporting multiple formats. There’s Document Viewer as well, which usually comes packed with high-end LG phones. This phone could be a Samsung S8300 UltraTOUCH killer.

Hey Vesta , the price and the expected release aren’t confirmed yet. Will update this post once they are confirmed :)
What OS will it use, symbian or anything else??
Hi Prabhav, it follows LG’s own UI (proprietary OS).
Regarding Symbian, the rest of Symbian’s share was bought again by Nokia long ago. So my guess is, Symbian will only feature in Nokia Phones.
Released late June, I’ve just ordered it !! I’m only 12 too !!
:)
That’s cool! :)
